In Kansas, they've somewhat affectionately dubbed the huge weather mass 'The Blizzard of Oz.' One thing is for sure, there are a lot of cold people in the U.S. So why do we all react to cold with shivering or chattering teeth? To create heat.
Snow Shoveling Safety
For most people, snow shoveling is not a problem, however it will raise the risk of heart attack for many of us. The extra physical exertion combined with colder temperatures increases the workload on the heart, so beware of the extra strain on your system which can lead to a heart attack.
