Fatigue
Fatigue is one of the most common reasons adults head to the doctor. Numerous studies found people who go to the doctor complaining of fatigue have suffered with it for a while, anywhere from 6 months to several years. Fatigue can be caused by numerous things including stress, depression, inactivity or a bad diet, but there are things you can do to get your energy back.
- First, eat a well balanced diet including protein, fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
- Sleep! Thirteen percent of Americans between the ages of between 18 and 34 do not get enough sleep every day.
- Drink enough water. Seventy-five percent of Americans suffer with dehydration, which can lead to depression, mood swings and fatigue. You should drink 8 glasses a day.
You also need to exercise! Even if you feel too tired, get up and get moving. It is one of the best ways to fight fatigue!
