Vegetarian Diet
If you choose a strict vegetarian diet consider adding some healthy fish or lean poultry occasionally for balance.
A vegetarian diet that includes plenty of whole grains lowers your chances of getting many chronic diseases. However, a diet that's completely meat free can deprive you of some essential nutrients.
Critical Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin B-12 can be found by adding a little variety to your vegetarian diet. Cold water fish like salmon and tuna, and skinless poultry are excellent sources of necessary vitamins and minerals that are missing in vegetables.
So, after you're done shopping in the supermarket produce aisle be sure to do a little fishing as well!
