Foot Issues
Do you suffer from chronic foot pain? You might be flatfooted and not even know it! Twenty-five percent of all Americans have flatfeet and don't suffer any kind of problems. However, if you work out and have foot or leg pain-,shin splints or other problems, you might want to take a closer look at the cause. How do you know if you have flatfeet? Check your wet foot print. If you have normal feet the front of the foot print should be joined to the heel by a strip half the width of the front foot. If you have flatfeet the strip will be the same width as the front of your foot. There are three things you can do to help with the problem.- Wear shoes with firm mid soles.
- Wear shoes tha t have rigid heel counters-- that's the stiff material at the back of the shoe.
- Wear shoes with good arch support.
